About Us

our garden

How this website started

We moved to Far North five years ago and we live on a three acre hill slope North of Mangamuka hills. Our property started as grazing land and now has 130 fruit trees, 300 native trees, gardens, raised gardens, berry bushes, small vineyard, hens, rooster and ducks. As we struggled in the first years to find information about ecofriendly, sustainable, organic and permaculture, we thought to gather in one place a variety of knowledge for sustainability enthusiasts.

We are righting a blog as well where you can read about our latest findings and experiences, including recipes and reviews.

We are publishing a newsletter every week separate from the blog. The articles are going to be archived and you are welcome to read them when you have time.
